Pajarito Veterinary Services provides in-home euthanasia, acupuncture, laser, and hospice/palliative care for pets in Los Alamos County, Española, and Santa Fe. Dr. Frogget treats animals in their homes where they feel most confident and secure. She believes in a high quality of life and comfort for every pet.

Services offered

  • Acupuncture

    Acupuncture is an advancing treatment for a number of problems. From arthritis to disk disease, it can be added to traditional methods or a standalone.

  • Euthanasia

    When it is time to say goodbye to your beloved companion, the best place to do that is where he or she will be most comfortable and happy. Most of the time that is in your home.

  • Cold laser therapy

    This non-invasive treatment can help with pain, inflammation, and swelling. This is typically done over a series of treatments.

  • Hospice and palliative care

    When you’d like to keep your pet as comfortable as possible without too much intervention, palliative care might be the way to go. Towards the end of life, when comfort is the main goal, hospice care is often times necessary.

Dr. Sarah Frogget

She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2010. She has been practicing general medicine for small animals since then and has worked in New Jersey and New Mexico. She earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology with a minor in music from Brigham Young University in 2006.

Dr. Frogget became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture through Curacore Academy in Fort Collins, CO. This program teaches the scientific basis of acupuncture through neuroanatomy and cellular signaling.
